 Balance - Backwards
My wife has a severe problem of leaning backwards. In Feb she had a bout with vertigo. The doctors at Georgetown Medical University Movement Disorders Clinic tell this the Vertigo was a stressor that set off another problem with Parkinson's (LBD) problems, backward balance. She has Physical and Occupational Therapy but they really don't help the backward balance. Looking for any suggestions. Thanks

As far as I know, there are only two approaches to dealing with the possibility of backwards falls: close care partner supervision when the person is walking, or a wheelchair. A front-weighted walker (eg, UStep) can be helpful but it will not prevent all falls.
