This topic is con't. from a conversation on Oscar the cat pertaining to healthy foods for the caregiver. I think it is important enough to receive its own topic. I just remembered a little bowl of nuts and another one of baby carrots sitting on the kitchen counter for inbetween meal snacks.

The magazine called Women's World (I think) at the checkout counter at the supermarkets has a recipe for "antioxident soup." It's very tasty, at least if you like the ingredients. Supposed to be a weight loss and health thing.

If anybody wants the recipe, I'll post it. Check out the magazine next time you shop, if it is still the current issue.

Strawberries are ripe in Ponchatoula, Louisiana! A bumper crop this year. Warm days and cool nights stretches the season out.
